Your ID photo
The current demo runs OCR in your browser. The photo is not uploaded; only the date you save is sent to your profile. OCR does not check whether an ID is genuine or belongs to you.
Check your age, connect your browser, and use a signed pass to unlock eligible content. A smaller proof for a more thoughtful web.
An age answer. Less personal information.
The browsing credential has no birthdate or account ID.
It carries the proof needed to check access.
One account connects your age check and your Chrome browser.

Supabase Auth stores your email and a password hash. Turn off email confirmation in Supabase to continue without a confirmation email.
Choose an access path. You can upgrade a child-limited account with an ID check later.
Choose a clear, straight-on photo of the front of your license. OCR runs in this browser; the image is not uploaded. The detected date is read-only.
OCR can misread dates. This date is unverified and cannot unlock rated websites. If it is wrong, try a clearer photo.
Date of birth saved to your profile.
OCR cannot verify the document or your identity. This result does not issue an age pass; rated sites remain locked.

Before you start
Veriff processes your ID and selfie. WebCompass stores your verified birthdate, never your ID image or selfie. We request deletion of the verification session; provider retention may apply. Websites receive neither your document nor your birthdate.
Your account is eligible for the current release.
Next, connect Chrome. In the extension, sign in to this same account and choose Activate my pass.

TRY YOUR BROWSER PASS
These three harmless example domains have project sample ratings. They demonstrate the access rules without visiting mature content. An unverified or expired pass is blocked on all three.

| example.org · 13+ | Blocked | Allowed | Allowed | Allowed |

KNOW WHAT YOU SHARE
The current demo runs OCR in your browser. The photo is not uploaded; only the date you save is sent to your profile. OCR does not check whether an ID is genuine or belongs to you.
Supabase Auth stores your email and password hash. A date saved from OCR is marked unverified and does not determine website access. Provider verification, when configured, is stored separately.
A real pass contains a signed age band, expiry, credential ID, format version, and public device key. It does not contain your birthdate or account ID. OCR and demo results do not issue a real pass.
A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS
Getting stuck is normal.
Here’s how to get moving again.
This build checks top-level visits to the domains in its small rating list. Sites outside that list open normally. It works only in Chrome while the extension is installed and enabled; another browser can bypass it.
Choose the child-limited path. It assigns the most restrictive Under 13 pass; this is not proof of your actual age, and all rated sites requiring 13+ remain blocked. You can add an ID check later.
No. The demo reads a DOB with browser OCR and saves it as unverified. Demo verification is simulated; it does not authenticate an ID or issue an age pass.
A real age pass requires a provider-verified profile. OCR and demo results do not activate the extension pass.
